The Exit Of The Big Guns

There were a few upsets of the big guns over the weekend. Manchester United were one of them. Chelsea were also one of them (sighs). Barisan Nasional ALMOST became one of them. Fortunately, the luck is still with them, for now.

Lost in the Q/F of FA cup last night.

Suffered the same results like Chelsea.

ALMOST got defeated too. BUT, a bit more fortunate than Chelsea and MU. LOL.

This post was actually inspired by the many defeats which happened just within one day. It all started during dinner with my classmates. We went to Taman Equine, near Sri Kembangan to have our dinner. The live broadcast of Manchester United vs. Portsmouth was showing on the big screen.

We makan + discussed about election results + watching MU missing chances and chances. Yup, eventually they lost 0-1 to Portsmouth despite the opposing team had only one shot on target during the whole second half. Kok Jin and Andrew, both MU fans were complaining non-stop about the bad luck the team was having. I managed to capture some images of the intense situation.

Rio Ferdinand as the replacement goalie looked dejected as he left the pitch. Awww..

Well, Chelsea lost too. I'm a fan of Chelsea, so I'm kinda disappointed with their cup performances this season. Luckily I was not watching that match, I'm afraid my expressions will be far worse than KJ and Andrew. I will be cursing. *grins*

Failed to do some heroic saves. Tough luck AGAIN!

Barnsley player can do flying kick, sure win la like that. =.=

Barnsley was the happier side last night after defeating Chelsea. @%$&*$

OH YEAH. Election results were released last night. (all of you know already =.=) Honestly speaking, I'm not a fan of politics. So, I did not really pay much attention to the election topic. I don't care about who is competing, who is losing, who is winning, who is crying and who is laughing away. BUT, I do care wee bit about who is gonna rule the country. The last thing I want is civil war in my lovely Malaysia. LOL.

Last night + this morning after I woke up, I briefly glanced through my friends' MSN personal messages. Based on what they wrote, I can somehow get the main picture of the election results. LOL. Here are a few good ones:

"Crazy Day ~~~ DAP, PKR and PAS had taken over Penang, Perak, Selangor, Kedah and Kelantan"

"D A P go! Half of our capital nt belongs to Barisan Nasional already!"

HERE IS THE SUMMARY OF THE ELECTION RESULTS YESTERDAY:

• The Barisan lost Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor,
• PAS strengthened grip on Kelantan,
• Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting won in their seats,
• Among ministers who lost their seats were Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin,
• Gerakan acting president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon lost to Dr P. Ramasamy in the Batu Kawan parliamentary seat.

A short article was released in this website and it is about a report on dear YUI's new PV of "Laugh Away". Below is the content of the short report:

The full version of the PV of YUI’s new song “Laugh Away” has been released!
This new song is currently the CM song for Glico’s Watering Kissmint Gum.

The music video was taken in the extreme coldness in the beginning of February. Two full days were spent out shooting in the cold weather conditions. At the scene where YUI was singing on the grass plains, the temperature was an astounding -6 degrees (celsius)! And while fighting against time, as they tried to finish shooting before sunset, they managed to capture the beautiful skies together with YUI’s singing.

The main male character in this music video is Hayashi Kento, winner of “Newcomer Actor” in the 31st Academy Awards. He acted as a teenager who fell in love, as he displayed his straightforwardness and purity.
