The Dark Knight
Forget about what other people said about the movie..eg. "the whole movie was so darky laahh, everything black black how to watch?", "the movie damn long, my butt aches", "the movie too deep lahh, cannot enjoy properly also" --- that's what I heard after I came out from the cinema and also from my other friends who have watched it.
TOO BAD. That's the only thing I replied, silently. IMO, this movie rocks. I watched in One Utama's TGV. Well, TGV is good enough for me because I got back middle seats, eye level to the screen. The seat is spacious and comfy, so no butt ache for me, and 2 hours 30 minutes is just perfectly nice for The Dark Knight.
TDK is not any other typical superhero movie. Its more like a movie that portrays the passion of crime and psychological warfare. *laughs* I was amazed by how Batman trying his best to make Gotham City safe from those crooks and how Joker trying his best to annoy the Batman. Other comic superhero movies that I've watched lately eg. Ironman, Hulk, Hellboy are nothing compared to TDK. In all aspects. *grins*
Honestly, I love this movie mainly because of Heath Ledger's Joker. Each time he appeared on the screen, I made sure I did not blink. *LOL* Heath Ledger's version of Joker is the best of all times I can say. The way he brings his maniac character around, spreading the psychotic killer aura and also some humor in between is superb. The Joker overshadowed Batman's ability, in terms of plotting out plans and playing psychological games. The way Heath Ledger played as the green-haired maniac in a purple suit, no doubt that he's the best played villain in movies I've ever seen. But, its sad to think that this will be the last performance by Heath Ledger.
There's one major flaw in TDK though, which is Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel. She sucks being Rachel. Please, Rachel is not that bithcy, slutty and noob. Katie suits Rachel more. Other than that, Aaron Eckhart played well as Harvey Dent. Same goes to Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox and Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon. I kinda like Jim Gordon in TDK, the way he assists Batman whenever possible and his leadership quality. Well done, Commisioner =)
This, my fav among all. All 3 of them in one. *woots*
Why so bloody serious?
Or helplessly watch Joker spread flames around your city?
This single post on The Dark Knight is a tribute to the late Heath Ledger.
You rock =)

Home Sweet Home
*chong king starts jumping here and there non-stop*
Home sweet home. I reached back home yesterday at 4.30pm. I'm just so so so so glad that I'm back home after 2 months plus away from home, since 21st March if I'm not mistaken. The first thing I did was to EAT, obviously. I just feel so good. Later that night, my parents and I went out to EAT again. Yeah, I think I live to eat for now. *grins*
I've listed out the "to-makan-list" in Taiping, and I will make sure I will eat all of them. There were Irene Rojak and 'Tong Sui', Salted Chicken, Hawker Center Claypot Chicken Rice, Taiping Satay.....the list goes on. *drools* And my beloved mom made one of the must-eat food in my "to-makan-list" --- the Chilli Chicken. Simply finger-licking good. Thanks mummy.
Er...this just shows how much I've enjoyed Cyberjaya food eh? =.=
For university students, what's the first thing you do when you reach back home during semester break besides filling up your tummy? SLEEP OF COURSE! I'm so sleep deprived for the past 2 weeks due to exams, exams and exams. Madness. But something happened.....
I woke up today. I stretched out to grab my hand phone to look at the time. Nope, battery died. So I slowly crawled out from the bed and walked downstairs like a zombie to have a look at the wall clock. The moment I saw the clock.....I went...
THHHHHEEEEE
*YAWNS*
HHHHEEELLLLLLL!!!!
!@%%$!@&$##@!$#@!
I can't believe my eyes. The clock was showing 6.35pm. Gosh. I went to bed at 12.30 am last night, and I woke up at 6.35pm!!! I slept for *starts counting carefully* freaking 18 hours. I broke my own record for the longest sleep for 14 hours. Dang, I still couldn't believe it until now when I'm writing this post. Tell me who to blame for this LONG sleep? Another weird thing was, my parents were not mad at me, instead they asked me: "Good morning, slept enough already? So do you want to have lunch or wait for dinner?"
Sweat. I hope this sleep will be the longest one and no more next time. I try not to break my own record again. 18 hours of sleep somehow filled up the hole I created due to the torturing exams.
But I still need to say this :
18 HOURS MAN!!!
OH BABY!!!
*grins*
My laptop is not repaired yet and I don't know when can I get it to the service center to be repaired. For the time being I'm using my dad's school laptop. Luckily my dad is having school holidays. If not I will be watching TV, eating and sleeping all the time. I'm also leeching the unsecured wireless from my neighborhood. So I take this opportunity to thank him...er..for not locking up his wireless network? *grins* The wireless network is steady today, so I grabbed this chance to post. I hope the wireless signal will stay strong, and I will continue to post and update. *smiles*
p/s: I love Taiping. =)

Is This The End?
Thursday, April 10, 2008
The End. The Start. I Hate Both.
Yesterday (9th April) marked the last day of midterm exams I had. A total of 4 midterm exams for different subjects in the course of 2 weeks, starting from 26th March. Oh goshhh, I can be lying dead by now. Well, almost, because its not really the end of everything that I dislike...yet. 2 more major ASS-ignments coming up and I have to hand them in next Friday. Sial. Briefly, I let you guys know what happened to my 4 test subjects for 2 freaking worst weeks I'd ever had this trimester.
26th March 2008, Introduction to Machines and Power Systems Midterm Test
I had one week of midterm break to study this subject while I was back home at Taiping. Well, I did study and made sure I understand all those stuff in this mixed up subject. But, being back home for one week long....it was a rare occasion, so yeah, frankly, I did not really concentrated on studying throughout the whole week. BUT, yeah but again, I believed that I covered all the theories, all the formulas, practically everything. And BUT, .....again, on the night of 26th March, when the midterm test started, my mind went POOOOOOM!!! Blank. I felt like my knowledge of this subject was raped by the test paper. Sigh, no confidence at all throughout the paper. In conclusion, I'm so gonna fail the paper for sure.
31st March 2008, Electronics III Midterm Test
HOOOhooohooh, killing paper for FOE students of MMU in Cyberjaya, well at least for me. And I'm majoring in it, my goodness. After the Machines test, morally down, I studied for Electronics III in the interval of 5 days. To be clear, I STUDIED BY MYSELF for all 3 topics that was tested in the exam. Why? Because the way the lecturer teach in class, can die. Studying part was ok, I can understand what was in Electronics III. BUT, sigh, same thing like Machines paper, I did not manage to do my best at all. *knocks head* Many of my friends said that this paper was easier than Machines. Maybe, but I did not really feel so. Hmmm..maybe I'm stupid, yeah that's why. =(
2nd April 2008, Instrumentation and Measurement Techniques Midterm Test
After the Electronics III paper, Career Fair 2008 was 2 days away. DUH, I gotta finalize everything under my division for the Career Fair. IMAGINE, only 3 days for me to study this subject (because I did not start studying E3 at all yet that time) and having to do my Career Fair job at the same time. That was madness. So, during the 1st day of the Career Fair (1st April), opening ceremony in particular, I carried out my duties and made sure everything went well. After opening ceremony, wasting no time I camped myself at one of the Security Checkpoints and studied for this paper. Well, I'm not the only one doing this. Karan, Hammie and other classmates studied together. Everyone was desperate. When it came to the exam day, at least this time it was not that bad compared to the previous 2 papers. And hell don't ask me why. I don't know why. I did the least studying for this paper and yet I felt quite ok for it. WEIRD LAA.
9th April 2008, Engineering Mathematics II Midterm Test
Had one week to study for this maths paper, but in between, still there are many stuffs to do, eg. lab sessions, assignment. Yup, although there was one week to study, I did last minute studying again. Fortunately, last night, the paper wasn't that tough as I expected. I was able to do properly. I'm sure it was the same for others too, because I saw waves of students left early and after 45 minutes, the hall was already 3/4 empty. So yeah =)
Yeah, that sums up all the 4 test papers I had in 2 weeks. The end of midterm tests. BUT, its the start of 2 huge ASS-ignments. Arghhh.....just how much I hate the never-ending stuff in a student's life. I need a break. *finds Kit-Kat*
But not until next Friday. *faints*

Yui Laugh away Live (dream live 2008)
I can't wait for 'I Loved Yesterday' to be released on the 9th April. 3 more days to go. BUT, at the same time I don't want that day to come so soon. Engineering Maths 2 on 9th April too, and I didn't even cover 50% of the syllabus yet. Shucks. This sem is a total failure for me. 3 papers confirm gone case for me. With the current rate i'm going for my Engineering Maths 2 paper, I think it will be the 4th paper to join the club of failing subjects. *cries*
GOSH, this supposed to be a happy post, I should be 'Laugh-ing away'. Alrite, enjoy the videos. I better get my ass moving. Till then.
*CK goes read Engineering Maths 2 notes*

A Visit To Penang
The food post starts.
This visit to Penang dated back to 22nd of March. And now is already 5th of April. OMG. Lousy blogger. Anyway, here were the few events during the trip to Penang, one of my favorite places to chill.
My sister came back to Taiping on Thursday (20th March), so we planned to have a short family outing since everyone's back home. Honestly, at this stage, I gotta admit, its hard to get all 4 of us back home together at the same time. Except CNY. =) So yeah, we planned and decided to visit my aunty in Penang. So off we go, to Penang, with the results of election still HOT. LOL.
We stayed at my aunty's place and after we reached Penang, we "chilled" at her house until 5 in the evening. I watched a few episodes of The Amazing Race Asia 2 before that together with my sister. God, Paula is a cute hottie. That's why I started watching TARA 2 *grins*
5.30 pm. We got ready and started our journey to Teluk Kumbar, er somewhere at Bayan Lepas. Is it? I have a bad sense of direction for your info. Anyway, we are heading to Teluk Kumbar Seafood Restaurant. The restaurant is just a normal house-type restaurant, situated by the sea. Nice. "Taste with Jason" once again visited this restaurant before. And I can tell you that Jason was so right about the food there. Simply yummy. I will elaborate more along with the pictures that I took. =)
I got to know this restaurant through Jason's food show.
So penang-nites out there, next time you go there, tell me and I will tag along =)
*slurrpss*
View of the big wide sea and the fishing boats.
Its been soooo long since the last time I visited the beach =)
My sis was like "Boy..boy..faster take pic of me with the beach and the ocean!!"
With the peace sign. =)
Except that I cant smile nicely, holding my small camera single-handedly is tough.
Ahh...I need to train more. =P
The small satay stall beside the restaurant selling my favorite satays for now. =P
All the cooking pros in action at the kitchen.
Or are they just lepak-ing? I curi-curi took this picture, so I can't tell.
Packed with hungry food-loving customers.
Take a look at this 'creature' in the water.
Its quite blur because the water was bubbling here and there.
Try to guess what is it? Hint: Turned out to be the best dish on the dining table. =)
AND HERE I PRESENT TO YOU THE PICTURES OF THE FOOD THAT WILL MAKE YOU DROOL NON-STOP! (as promised in the previous posts)
READY??

1st dish to arrive : Kuah-less (Sauce-less) Satay. Cool or not you say. No sauce lehh.
Within 2 minutes I ate 4 already. *evil*
Very the nice, the satays were already coated with spicy sweet sauce.
CK's rating : 9/10
2nd dish : Belacan Kang-kung.
This is a common dish in every other restaurant, but NOT this one.
The belacan is this restaurant ada special sikit, lebih wangi =)
CK's rating : 7.5/10
3rd dish : 'Kam Heong La-La'
Fuhh..this is the best 'Kam Heong La-La' I've ever tasted.
Very the 'heong'. Very the 'Kam'. After eating you simply go singing la-la-la... *laughs*
CK's rating : 8.8/10
4th dish : Sweet Spicy Crabs. (I forgot the actual name, its sweet, its spicy, so yeah.)
Although there were only 2 crabs and they were small, it was enough for 5 of us.
The crabs were very fresh. Thumbs up.
CK's rating : 8.8/10
5th dish : Steamed Fish
This pic was taken late and all bones left.
I nearly forgotten about it because I'm all into the crabs and the 'la-la' =P
Fish was fresh. Well steamed. Simply yummy.
CK's rating : 8.2/10
Final dish and the best dish among all : (I don't know the English name for it)
It was so big that it was enough for 5 of us.
The meat was unbelievably fresh and succulent. It was steamed perfectly.
Yeah, just the perfect dish to end the course.
CK's rating : 9.5/10
Naked, revealing the fresh succulent flesh.
Oh god, killing dish. *drools*
Empty dishes with nothing left.
Kering-kontang.
*Thumbs up*
=P
Ferrari + Shell was having promotion on their products at the same time. There was a Ferrari F1 car on display and it was simply AWESOME to be able to view it up close. And did I tell you the Shell models are also the same. AWESOME. *twisted* They are way better than those girls at the Sepang F1 grid. But, who cares, as long as I can see them at Queensbay Mall, chun-ted already =P
Here are some photos I took on the F1 cars. Again, I don't have the pics of the Shell hotties. Lalala.
Shining-ly nice. Simple as that. =)
Top view of the Ferrari F1 car from the 2nd floor. Gorgeous.
Can't resist to take a picture with the race-winning car.
The car looks nicer right? =(
*laughs*
That's not all after Queensbay. Around 10pm we left Queensbay and headed to Tesco, near E-Gate (this time I'm very sure I'm correct about the place. *blueks*) My aunty wana update her Tesco points. Nothing much to say about Tesco because I'm already verrrrrrryyyy tireeeeeeeeeeeeed, I can't walk anymore so I sat down at one place, resting. No pics were taken. My phone was resting with me. =P
Next morning we started our journey back to Taiping early in the morning because my bus to KL was at 1.30pm. So yeah, after that I was back to Cyberjaya already, and started a massively busy and disastrous week. Sobs. That I will tell more in the next post. Let's make this post all happy.
Till then.
p/s:
MMU Career Fair 2008 had just ended 2 days ago. The event went smoothly, and it was all good. I'm waiting for the photos for the event, and then I will rant about it here. I'm glad that the event is over. Back to my usual life, no more emails, no more phone calls, no more meetings, no more complaints, no more stress =) However, I missed the fun we had during the 3 days of Career Fair. Thank you to my friends that helped me out during the Career Fair 2008. I love you guys. =)

*Chong King sings Happy Birthday to you you and performs the HBTYY dance...*
p/s:
I skipped my own post to update this birthday wish. Pai-seh =) YUI is somewhat special I guess. I will TRY, TRY ok..to update my next post. Something to do with Penang and the food there *drools*
p-p/s:
This post is short. I'm so freaking busy now with Career Fair and tons of midterm exams. Somebody save me or just kill me.
